چکیده
To date, there has been little agreement on supporting the hypothesis that how some key vegetative traits of camelina (Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz var. ‘Soheil’) are dependent plant biomass. Therefore, main aim this investigation was to quantify relationship between size plants and seed production across a broad-range densities through modelling approaches. make wide range densities, fan design used in eight replicates an experimental field at Sari Agricultural Sciences Natural Resources University, Iran. relation density other traits, regression analysis carried out coefficient determination (R2) considered evaluate goodness fit model. A power model (y = axb) could describe well (ranged 113–2905 m−2) biomass, production, number seeds per plant, stem diameter, siliques number, with values 0.85, 0.87, 0.65, 0.64, 0.90, respectively. The harvest indexes were 13.8%–26.9%, depending density. Seed positively correlated (r 0.85), branch 0.80), 0.99) which be components plant. Furthermore, no significant correlation found among height, thousand-seed weight, index In conclusion, biomass important trait predict growth models camelina. Also, lower can compensated by greater siliques, branches

Effect of planting date on growth, seed yield and oil quality of camelina (Camelina sativa L. Crantz)
Camelina is one of the plants that it seed yield is highly dependent on planting date. This experiment was conducted using randomized complete blocks design with three replications in research farm of Fasa Branch, Islamic Azad University, Fasa, Iran in 2018 and 2019 cropping seasons. Planting dates at six levels; November 1, 11, 21 (autumn sowing) and February 20, March 1 and 11 (winter sowing)...
متن کاملPollination of two oil-producing plant species: Camelina (Camelina sativa L. Crantz) and pennycress (Thlaspi arvense L.) double-cropping in Germany
Camelina and pennycress are two annual oil-producing plant species that have recently gained attention as biofuel feedstock crops. Prior to commercial production, information on their breeding and pollination system is essential to ensure sustainable management. We conducted pollination experiments and observed flower visitors in an experimental double-cropping system in southern Germany. We fo...

Seed supply, recruitment, and assembly: quantifying relative seed and establishment limitation in a plant community context.
There is a growing consensus that the relative constraints of seed limitation and establishment limitation in recruitment strongly influence abundance patterns in plant communities. Although these constraints have direct relevance to coexistence, most investigations utilize a seed addition approach that offers limited insight into these dynamics. Here we report the results of an assembly experi...
متن کاملOver-expression of AtPAP2 in Camelina sativa leads to faster plant growth and higher seed yield
BACKGROUND Lipids extracted from seeds of Camelina sativa have been successfully used as a reliable source of aviation biofuels. This biofuel is environmentally friendly because the drought resistance, frost tolerance and low fertilizer requirement of Camelina sativa allow it to grow on marginal lands. Improving the species growth and seed yield by genetic engineering is therefore a target for ...
